Hammer Handle
Grip it like a hammer. Pull with the forearm, not the fingertips.
A straight bar puts your wrist wherever the bar wants it. A rope gives you nothing solid to hold. This handle hangs upright off the cable, so your hand closes around it in a neutral, thumbs-up grip, the same way you hold a hammer. The flared base sits under your little finger and takes the load, so you stop squeezing just to keep the handle from sliding out and put that effort into the pull.
The body is machined aluminium alloy, finished black, with a knurled 35 mm grip that holds a sweaty hand without chalk. The eye at the top swivels, so the handle turns with your wrist through the rep instead of twisting against the cable.
Sold as a single. Clip one on for single arm work, or take two for pushdowns and rows with both hands.
What it is for
Hammer curls and pushdowns on a cable. Single arm rows and pulldowns with a neutral grip. Overhead tricep extensions. Any pull where you want the wrist straight and the forearm doing the work.
