Vintage Leather Straps
The strap they used before straps had logos and marketing. Still works the same.
Nylon straps are fine until they aren't. They fray at the fold, they slide on a smooth bar, and after a year in a gym bag they smell like one. Leather does none of that. It breaks in, moulds to your wrist, and gets better the more you sweat on it.
These are cut from two layers of selected cowhide, stitched through, the same straps that hung off every wrist in the golden era gyms. A soft lining on the wrist loop keeps the edge off the bone; everything else is leather. Wrap it, cinch it, and the suede face bites the knurling harder with every rep instead of creeping.
Use them for deadlifts, rows, shrugs, and pulldowns when the goal is loading your back past what your fingers can hold. Take them off for everything else and let your grip do its job.
